Job Role SummaryResponsible for the registration of clinic patients, review and maintenance of medical records and charts for Bell Flower Clinic patients.Essential Duties Utilizes appropriate methods for interacting effectively and professionally with persons of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and physical abilities. Greets patients at registration window and obtain completed registration forms and ID from clients. Registers patients into the electronic medical record system, updating demographics, consent authorizations, and other patient information. Create visit encounters and collect all applicable fees that relate to visit. Completes and verifies fees collected at the end of the day, and secures payments in designated safe. Scan registration forms, IDs, referral forms and all other applicable documents into OnBase. Assist other departments when assigned. Participates in public health emergency preparedness exercises and in response to public health emergencies, as directed. Participates in a minimum of two Health Outreach & Promotional Events (H.O.P.E.) totaling a minimum of eight hours annually. Perform other duties as assigned.
