About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY: Support staff are responsible for monitoring persons served during their treatment on campus,and making sure that they attend their scheduled appointments. As an operations support staff member, the main duty is to ensure persons served are reporting to the appropriate level of care and completing their daily responsibilities while on campus. Also primarily responsible for the safe transportation of persons served. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM

Requirements

  • RADT-I
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Valid and current California Driver License, at least 4 years driving experience with clean driving record.
  • Proficient in HIPAA and strong adherence to code of confidentiality
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • First aid, TB clearance, and CPR certification within 30 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in substance abuse and/or mental health field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Strictly enforce and support person served rights and confidentiality of information as required by HIPAA, federal and California rules and regulations concerning treatment facilities.
  • Support and implement SCBH philosophy with regards to all program components and maintenance of person served personal dignity.
  • Compliance with SCBH Driving Policy and driving requirements.
  • Picks up and drops off person served at various locations.
  • Inspects vehicles inside and out according to procedures.
  • Fill out the gas log when fuel is needed. Keep all gas receipts and make sure the receipts are turned in immediately upon returning to campus location.
  • Reports any emergency situations or accidents immediately to supervisor according to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the vehicle is empty of trash upon returning after an outing.
  • Ensure persons served attends group meetings
  • Review calendars to ensure Doctor’s appointments are met
  • Lay out snacks and refreshments for persons served prior to group
  • Enter mileage in the mileage log to and from locations
  • Transport persons served to residential facilities, sober livings, and corresponding appointments both on and off site, as needed
  • Inpatient and outpatient group hour tracking
  • Accompany persons served on outings, as needed
  • Facilitate groups as needed and complete group documentation in a timely manner
  • Responsible for urinary analysis of persons served as prescribed by doctor
  • Monitor point of care cups and report positive results to appropriate parties.
  • Process and label urine analysis before set cut off time.
  • Monitor and track urinalysis lab results on a daily basis and report positive results to Clinical Director, Admissions Director, Operations Manager, nursing team, and clinical team.
  • Supervise persons served while at campus location
  • Transport persons served as needed
  • Report persons served headcount to Chef for lunch, snacks, refreshments, etc.
  • Responsible for redirecting clients and making sure they attend all required programming
  • Responsible for managing schedules and groups within Sunwave
  • Other responsibilities as needed
