About The Position

Come and join our fast-moving, world-class organization in Camarillo, CA. We are one of the world's largest private manufacturers of servo drives used in automating a wide variety of industries and applications around the world and in space. We are looking for a motivated Support Engineer to become an integral part of our team. Will provide technical assistance, support, and guidance to customers and internal teams including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of our servo drives into next generation robotics and automation. This position is part of the Product Management team and with exposure to potential future positions in Sales and Engineering.

Requirements

Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Will occasionally/frequently: stand, walk, sit, use both hands, and carry/lift/push/pull to 25 lbs.
We are ITAR Registered. Hired candidate must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo, CA facility, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p (additional hours/days as required).
Minimum education: BSEE, BSME, BSCE, or related degree required.

Nice To Haves

Prior related work experience.
Prior experience with motion control or mechatronics.
C/C++ programming experience.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding technical support and training to our customers and sales partners via phone, email, web-based meeting, and in person.
Communicate specifications and requirements to internal teams.
Hands-on testing, measuring and reporting of findings, working with AMC amplifiers, third party devices, and customer equipment.
Represent and support AMC's talented team at trade shows and marketing events.
Some domestic and international travel is required (up to 15% of the time).
Additional job duties as required.
