About The Position

Use troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions to our customers' individual needs. Interact with leading engineers globally. Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues. Leverage customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services. Drive customer communication during critical events. Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers’ technical support experience. Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community. Work on critical, complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): experience in ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica or similar; demonstrated knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles experience with advanced SQL and query performance tuning skills; experience integrating and managing large data sets from multiple sources; experience reading and understanding Python and Scala code; experience with distributed computing environments; experience with Spark, Hive and Prest; experience working with docker, Python, and shell scripting; experience with customer service; experience with EC2, S3, EBS, Glue, or Athena.
