About The Position

The Support Administrative Assistant II plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations across all departments connected to catering and banquet kitchen. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to tackle challenges head-on.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of catering and banquet or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience in a high-end medium to large resort environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage Banquet Event Order, schedules and project materials accurately.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft skills using Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and coordinating with the Executive Chef(s).
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions, ensuring trust and confidentiality in the role.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Position requires licenses - health card.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant for catering and banquets or food and beverage.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage in high volume a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of Banquet Event Orders for BOH operations across banquets and support kitchens.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Chef and overall F&B operations.
  • Prepare Banquet Event Order packet, input food orders, and manage office supply inventory.
  • Safeguard confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist the chefs in placing orders through the company’s ordering platform.
  • Assist the chefs in creating food and labor cost reports using the relevant platform
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
