About The Position

Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist the more than two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION: We seek a responsible and detail-oriented individual who will be able to work with a team to maintain an inventory of consumable supplies. This position is located in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. To support our mission, preference will be given to individuals with a documented disability. Requirements

• A good working knowledge of supply systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year experience performing the above responsibilities.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• Must meet Ability One definition of disabled.

Responsibilities

• Stock, order and receive consumable supplies.
• Receive excess equipment and perform technical inspection.
• Coordinate and execute installation Transportation Office shipments.
• Shipping and receiving.
• Cataloguing and posting property into a database.
• Labeling property for accurate tracking.
• Conducting inventories.
• Create and update Supporting and Document files using Microsoft Office Tools.
• Storage management.
• Attend training as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
