About The Position

SUMMARY Assist the Government in receiving, screening, storing, inventory management, cataloging, processing, data entry, record keeping, and distribution of supplies and mail on the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) contract at Fort Belvoir and Kirtland AFB. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Receive, store, screen, inventory, catalog, process, perform data entry, maintain records, distribute, manage, and dispose of DTRA assets. Assist with marking assets and inputting asset data in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS). Assist the Government with maintaining, managing, controlling, conducting inventories of, distributing, and accounting for all assets in designated storage areas. Utilize DPAS/ELMS to provide hand receipt support to maintain DTRA worldwide asset accountability. Assist with moving IT equipment, furniture, and other facility-related assets. Assist with the disposal of excess material. Assist with the screening and scanning of all material coming into the Central Processing, Distribution, and Disposal Facilities (CPFs). Assist with distribution services for mail, small parcel services, and Department of State (DoS) classified and unclassified pouch services. Assist with the outbound movement of small parcel and large-load cargo. Assist with the distribution of copy and printer paper. Assist with Feds Feed Families and Food Bank pickup and delivery to the Central Virginia Food Bank. Track packages, containers, etc., from start to end point while maintaining responsibility for overall shipping results. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in a Logistics warehouse.
  • Experience in operating a 5-ton truck and forklift.
  • Hold and maintain a Secret clearance and able to be briefed up to Restricted Data (RD) (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.
  • Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DPAS and ELMS.
  • HAZMAT certified.
  • Proficient in using computer systems to retrieve data from the DPAS system, input data into Express Mail, commercial mail systems, and provide reports as required.
