About The Position

The Technical Supply Specialist supports Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) maintenance and logistics operations. The position manages the receipt storage issue and accountability of government property repair parts and support equipment. The role helps maintain accurate inventory records proper documentation and the timely distribution of UAS components to support operational readiness and training requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have GCSS Army experience.
  • Experience in technical supply, warehouse operations, logistics support, or property accountability.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, supply documentation, and warehouse management procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records in automated supply systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, stand for extended periods up to 50 minutes, and walk at least 100 meters across uneven or unpaved surfaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate forklifts or materiel handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, unload, and segregate UAS equipment, components, and support property. Verify quantities, condition, stock numbers, part numbers, serial numbers, and model numbers against shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Record supply transactions and receipts using automated logistics systems such as GCSS Army or similar supply management platforms.
  • Operate materiel handling equipment, warehouse tools, and vehicles to move, store, and distribute supplies in support of maintenance and training operations.
  • Store and organize UAS equipment and parts to ensure efficient issue, inventory control, and compliance with fire and safety regulations.
  • Issue, ship, deliver, or transfer UAS equipment and repair parts to supported units, maintenance personnel, or designated locations.
  • Determine routing and internal destinations for repairable components using technical manuals, stock lists, and disposition instructions.
  • Conduct routine inventories, warehouse validations, and inventory adjustments to maintain accurate accountability of government property.
  • Prepare containers, racks, bins, and storage areas for proper handling and shipment of UAS equipment and components.
  • Inspect property condition upon receipt and identify unserviceable components using technical data, maintenance documentation, and equipment specifications.
  • Coordinate transportation and handling requirements for equipment, hazardous materials, and waste in accordance with federal regulations and safety standards.
  • Utilize automated reports, data processing systems, and supply procedures to manage issues, receipts, inventory actions, and property accountability.
