About The Position

This position is responsible for providing support to the Supply Supervisor. Key contributions include rail car logistics, liquid inventory management, maintaining supplier and customer pricing, assisting with dispatching transports, data entry, managing customer calls, and providing administrative support to the department and all Eastern districts.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, including demonstrable experience with spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Prior industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor rail service logistics, track and report on rail cars while in transit, process rail shipping documents, interact with rail suppliers and railroads to ensure timely and efficient movement of rail cars.
  • Utilize daily readings, Oracle JD Edwards’ software (JDE), and other software to manage on-hand liquid inventory. Reconcile month end inventory with correcting adjustments.
  • Process daily work and learn all duties within the Supply Department to provide coverage across the team.
  • Develop contracts for suppliers and customers. Enter contracts into agreement master within JDE and reconcile lifted volume daily.
  • Provide customers with requested information utilizing JDE software or other appropriate means to achieve total satisfaction.
  • Prepare and enter customer documentation into coinciding customer files.
  • Enter daily propane and distillate pricing in JDE and maintain a daily log of prices for analysis.
  • Quote product for internal fixed price programs and external customer fixed price deals.
  • Communicate with the industrial team to develop work orders as needed.
  • Assist the accounts payable department to resolve any supplier or vendor invoice discrepancies.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers while maintaining confidentiality of all customer information.
  • Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.
