Supply Specialist III (Hourly)
About The Position
This employee will work at SCDNR's Styx Receiving Compound. Job Duties Include: Receiving and inspecting DNR equipment and property delivered to the Styx Receiving Compound. Ensuring the overall security of the Styx Receiving Compound and reporting any necessary repairs to the supervisor. Maintaining a cooperative relationship with State Surplus property staff for the sale of DNR surplus equipment. Maintaining an inventory of office equipment and property and other DNR equipment for the Styx Receiving Compound. Making equipment available for the public to view. Answering incoming telephone calls to the Styx Receiving Compound. Performing other related duties as required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma and two (2) years of related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to conduct physical labor and count/document inventory efficiently.
- Basic automotive/marine skills.
- Ability to operate equipment such as tractor, forklift, roll-back truck, riding lawn mowers, etc.
- Basic PC skills and well-versed in language and writing skills.
