Work Period: July 2026 to December 2026 Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Needham, MA with the remaining days worked remotely. This role: In this role, you’ll help ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time to meet customer needs and drive operational excellence. You’ll support inventory fulfillment strategies, monitor supply continuity, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high service levels and inventory optimization. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in end-to-end inventory planning and develop core supply chain skills in a high-growth, consumer-driven company.

Requirements

  • Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program, or currently enrolled in a master’s program
  • Must be able to work a full-time, 40-hour-per-week schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Needham, MA
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Structured and consistent in order to sustain the weekly order management process
  • Capacity to learn and navigate through new applications quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task and time manage independently
  • Ability to seamlessly communicate and elevate any issues that require attention and corrective actions
  • Strong technical skills (specifically Excel)
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to engage and lead discussions in meetings/team settings

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders, including category SKU replenishment and ongoing PO adjustments based on changes in demand and supply capacity
  • Conduct weekly purchase order reviews to align inventory levels with forecasted demand and supplier constraints
  • Support new product development (NPD) inventory positioning and fulfillment execution
  • Perform inventory portfolio reviews to identify distribution center balancing needs, inventory conversions, and excess inventory depletion requirements
  • Maintain inventory portfolio master data, including regular review and updates of item parameters
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics and develop corrective action plans as needed
  • Participate in weekly S&OP meetings and leverage outputs to proactively reposition inventory levels
  • Create, maintain, and enhance inventory and supply chain reports to support decision-making
