Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement support.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and/or Ariba procurement systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and supplier communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with operations, maintenance, and finance teams.
  • Basic understanding of procurement contracts and cost-saving principles.

Responsibilities

  • Create, release, and track purchase orders for direct materials and services.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of requisitions in SAP/Ariba in line with Henkel purchasing guidelines.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and site stakeholders to confirm delivery schedules and resolve invoice or receipt discrepancies.
  • Support local sourcing of approved suppliers to improve responsiveness and reduce lead times.
  • Assist with supplier qualification and performance tracking under supervision of the Procurement & Supply Chain Manager.
  • Monitor indirect spend, identify savings opportunities, and report results monthly.
  • Maintain purchase documentation, contracts, and supplier master data in SAP.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Procurement for policy updates, audits, and process compliance.
  • Support site cost-reduction initiatives, safety equipment sourcing, and service-contract renewals.
