About The Position

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit a Supply Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Supply Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional service to customers through accurate inventory management, reliable logistics execution, and precise system pricing. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of inbound and outbound freight for one of thier product lines, while maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring ERP system accuracy.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Strong understanding of LTL/truckload freight processes
  • Proficiency with ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments for breading, seasonings, cleaners, filters, and other supply products
  • Book and schedule LTL, truckload, and small-package shipments using approved carriers
  • Track shipments proactively and communicate delays, exceptions, or delivery changes
  • Resolve freight issues such as missed pickups, damages, reconsignments, and detention
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers and negotiate improved service where appropriate
  • Optimize loads to reduce freight costs while maintaining service levels
  • Ensure freight documentation (BOLs, PODs, packing slips) is complete and accurate
  • Monitor inventory levels across Minneapolis and PHT West distribution points
  • Maintain safe stock levels based on historical usage, seasonality, and sales forecasts
  • Submit purchase orders to vendors to replenish inventory and prevent stockouts
  • Coordinate inbound deliveries and shipments with warehouse teams
  • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and collaborate with warehouse teams to resolve them
  • Provide inventory availability information to management for order planning
  • Maintain accurate pricing in the ERP system for all breading, seasoning, and supply products
  • Update pricing based on vendor increases, internal adjustments, and new product launches
  • Audit pricing for accuracy and consistency across product categories and customer accounts
  • Work with sales leadership to implement promotional or contract pricing
  • Ensure proper costing is applied to all SKUs
  • Communicate proactively with other internal teams
  • Support customer service teams with urgent order requests
  • Provide freight quotes and delivery ETAs to account managers and customers
  • Assist management with freight cost analysis and identifying efficiencies
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP systems
  • Generate reports as requested
  • Assist with vendor performance tracking and freight cost reviews
