Requirements

  • Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, math skills, and knowledge of medical supplies.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean DMV record.

  • Warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stock, maintain, and distribute medical and office supplies across hospital departments using computerized inventory systems to support patient care.
  • Receive, unpack, verify, log, and sort incoming supplies and equipment, match shipments against packing lists and shipping documents.
  • Enter inventory data accurately, perform periodic cycle counts, and adjust records as needed.
  • Maintain established par levels by stocking units, preparing requisitions, and pulling stock orders for delivery.
  • Transport supplies efficiently throughout the department and facility to designated locations.
  • Place supplies in appropriate storage locations; monitor expiration dates and rotate stock monthly.
  • Identify, document, and report shipping errors, shortages, or damaged items to management.
  • Answer phones, receiving dock inquiries, and walk-up window requests professionally; route calls and messages appropriately.
  • Complete clerical, computer-based tasks, and process outgoing mail in support of patient care operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
