As Supply Chain Technician, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. More about our team Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses – Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine. How you’ll contribute A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role is responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations:

Requirements

  • Applicants need to possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak, understand).

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
  • Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into inventory system, delivers items to departments or facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
  • Adjusts inventory records as needed.
