Performs daily Supply Chain Management duties related to the acquisition and distribution of goods to support acute and/or ambulatory care departments as necessary or proactively supports/maintains one or more computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability to end users. As a “Supply Chain Tech Advanced” you will: Maintains and distributes medical equipment and gas per unit request and established pars. Maintains all assigned unit par location bins in optimal condition with ongoing par updates and label reprints as assigned or recommended by Kanban Dashboard metric review. As assigned, maintain and clean designated hospital equipment (e.g. IV pumps/channels/SCD & breast pumps, cooling/warmers) in good working order; assuring broken units are referred to BioMed for repair. As assigned, exchange O2 tanks per designated unit pars; staged used tanks for replacement. Demonstrates accountability through utilization of good time management ensuring completion of all assignments prior to the end of shift. Unapproved downtime must be avoided. Seek supervisor assistance as required. Productivity expectation includes positive trend on Kanban Bin fill rates and utilization, individual scan transactions matching assigned bin Pars and elimination of unnecessary Express Issues. Includes occasional lifting, up to 30 pounds unassisted, frequent travel & use of computer; Includes continuous sitting & may require rare long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, bending, pulling & pushing. Serves as a frontline Supply Chain support representative for ordering, data entry & payment activities. Assists Supply Chain Leader with special assignments. Trains colleagues & readily assume responsibility for extra assignments.
