About The Position

The Supply Chain & Inventory Driver will primarily deliver provisions to our locations in CT, MA, RI, NYC and Long Island in a company provided vehicle. This position will also assist in maintaining the inventory and supply of necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all provisions. This position will assist the department manager with inventory maintenance and record keeping. This position will be considered for either full-time seasonal or year-round, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Valid and unencumbered Drivers License
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Basic understanding of inventory policies and procedures
• Proficient keyboarding skills
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to preform basic math calculations
• Strong problem solving
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
• Ability to navigate warehouse environment reaching items high and low
• Ability to stand or sit for periods of time up to four hours with minimal rest periods

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with Mac and Windows applications preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver inventory to markets as needed
• Coordinate the shipping of materials to remote locations
• Assist with the execution of inventory audits and storage unit reviews
• Receiving, unpacking and shelving of inventory, box breakdown and proper disposal
• Maintain clean and organized workspace and contribute to the cleaning of the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned
