About The Position

Commonwealth Rolled Products is a leading manufacturer of Aluminum rolled products for the Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial markets. The Company operates its production facility in Lewisport, KY with the support of an Automotive Innovation Center for R&D, Sales and Field Service in Madison Heights (DET), and Inside Sales in the Cleveland, OH area. Our production facility is seeking to add a talented Supply Chain Systems Analyst to its team. The purpose of this role is to provide routine analysis to the Supply Chain team and maintain data integrity within manufacturing systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or industrial engineering required; in lieu of a degree, 4+ years of relevant experience in addition to the minimum experience required is acceptable.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing setting
  • High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Comfort and familiarity with multiple computer systems, integrated and non-integrated
  • Data cleansing and validation experience
  • Ability to communicate with others to build credibility and rapport
  • Ability to listen well, present information clearly, write intelligently, and persuade others
  • Ability to work autonomously, independently
  • Process and system-oriented, and critical thinker
  • Ability to start and persist on a course of action with high motivation and a sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience using ERP Order Management in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in maintaining a zero-incident safety culture
  • Live and champion the Commonwealth Rolled Products core values: Safety, Integrity, Customer Focus, Ownership, Excellence, and Teamwork
  • Monitor IT Systems for internal and external data interface errors
  • Assist Product Flow and Logistics with system needs and issues
  • Weekly auditing reports– inventory accuracy, batch balances, etc.
  • Analyze system issues, work with Oracle and MES teams to identify root causes of system interface issues
  • Work closely with, and mentor schedulers and shipping coordinators on the system impact of their tasks
  • Perform inventory transactions such as CALP and Slit batch balancing, bill-only for accounting, material movements from offsite warehousing to plant
  • Analyze and maintain aged inventory at warehouses and plant levels
  • Work effectively with teams to determine solutions to problems, build rapport/collaboration, conduct training
  • Analyze business operations and user requests by making recommendations for process improvements/system solutions, and facilitating their design and deployment as these apply to plant processing
  • Perform monthly ABS capacity analysis
  • Assists with the development of standard work instructions and process workflows
