Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or associate degree preferred
  • Typically 1+ year of related experience in material handling, inventory management, or production support
  • Experience with automated inventory systems and standard warehouse operations

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with supply chain coordination, production workflows, and lean manufacturing principles is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Move and process production materials in and out of storage, production areas, and other designated locations to support aircraft production and flight test operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory status and updates using automated material management systems
  • Identify and report material shortages, part availability issues, and recommend resolutions to minimize production impact
  • Analyze and reconcile discrepancies in parts and materials to ensure system and inventory accuracy
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and expedite production activities to prevent schedule delays
  • Create and update standard work documentation as needed to support continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Supply Chain teams across global locations in support of the 787 program
  • Work under limited supervision while ensuring high levels of accuracy and accountability
