Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience supporting manufacturing operations with non-production materials, tools, or shop supplies
  • 1+ year using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Hand tool and inventory management experience, particularly with CribMaster
  • Ability to work 1st shift and perform physical labor throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, or Quality
  • Familiarity with systems such as Velocity, KITS (Kit Integration Tracking System), Shipside Action Tracker (SAT), or BESSy
  • Exposure to or use of lean manufacturing principles

Responsibilities

  • Move and process materials, tools, and supplies into and out of storage, tool cribs, and production areas in accordance with standard work instructions
  • Monitor and track work-in-process materials, ensuring availability to meet production schedules
  • Use automated systems and manual reporting tools to communicate part/tool status and support real-time decision-making
  • Identify and resolve material/tool discrepancies of limited scope using established procedures
  • Coordinate with supply chain, production, and support teams to prioritize material flow and avoid delays
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, climbing, and material handling throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Support inventory organization using tools like CribMaster, and assist with packaging and unloading of materials
  • Operate or obtain certification for forklift and other material handling equipment
