About The Position

Production and Inventory Coordinator Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Production and Inventory Coordinator (Expedite-Stores) to join the Boeing 787 Procurement team located in Orangeburg, South Carolina on 1st Shift . Position Responsibilities: Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under general supervision. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Orangeburg, SC. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in receiving, storing, picking, kitting, and shipping processes
  • 1+ years of experience with inventory, stock, or supply chain management
  • 1+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
  • Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • Currently have or are able to obtain forklift license

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ Years experience in supply chain concepts and best-practices
  • Previous forklift experience
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
