About The Position

The Supply Chain Supervisor at ZF’s Marysville, MI facility will lead a 2nd-shift team of 10–12 supply chain associates supporting the production of axle drives for Stellantis. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for supervising day-to-day execution of supply chain activities within the plant to meet or exceed customer requirements for delivery, timing, quality, and cost. The supervisor will plan and assign work, ensure adherence to procedures and work instructions, and drive continuous improvement in operating practices and working conditions. This position plays a key leadership role in fostering a high-morale, team-oriented environment while ensuring strong performance and collaboration across the production facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 4+ years of progressive, related experience.
  • Prior supervisor experience required.
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to lead people and get results through others. Must be able to train and develop others.
  • Demonstrated ability of problem analysis and resolution.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervision experience with union workforce preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective employee relations.

  • Establish and maintain training plans and records for all direct reports.
  • Direct transportation and storage of materials and commodities by developing methods and procedures to support both internal and external customers.

  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Support and participate in both internal and external process auditing activities.
  • Participate and support launches of new parts and processes.
