About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is pleased to announce an opportunity for students to join us
for a Supply Chain Summer Internship that will take place in State College, PA
or Hanover, PA starting in May 2026. The Supply Chain Department at Utz
includes: Customer Logistics, Demand/Supply Planning, Innovation, Purchasing,
Transportation, and Warehousing. The successful internship candidate(s) will
work for one of the areas listed above. The summer internship is a full time
position working throughout the summer.

Join us for an opportunity to work with our Supply Chain team on various tasks
and projects.  Gain valuable experience while networking with associates
throughout the organization. Applicants must have competency in all Microsoft
Office products, effective communication skills and strong organizational
skills.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing historical sales data to contribute to accurate demand forecasts.
• Support the maintenance of optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
• Monitor inventory turnover rates and propose improvements for more efficient stock management.
• Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Assist in optimizing order processing workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
• Utilize data analysis tools to extract meaningful insights and generate reports on key performance indicators.
• Contribute to the development of dashboards for real-time monitoring of supply chain metrics.
• Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, logistics, and production, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share updates and insights.
• Tracking freight through coordination with carriers.
• Work with both transportation and warehouses to coordinate shipments and inventory.
