About The Position

Supply Chain Specialist The Opportunity: Work closely with an integrated project team to lead the procurement efforts for required hardware in a timeframe which aligns with project needs. Work with suppliers to deliver hardware and services at an acceptable quality level and agreed-upon timelines to meet project schedules. Develop, implement, and manage supply chain solutions. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizen ship is required .

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a hardware supply chain delivery role
  • Experience identifying potential suppliers for project hardware or service requirements
  • Experience procuring complex build to print parts
  • Ability to work directly with suppliers and their sub-tiers for cradle-to-grave procurement actions, including quoting to delivery
  • Ability to read and utilize engineering drawings or specifications and Bills of Material for procurement needs
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive on-time delivery of procurements
  • Ability to manage work efficiently
  • Asso cia te's degree
  • U.S. citizen ship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Micro sof t products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, or Project
  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred; Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management a plus

  • Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
  • The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
