Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED (Required)
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field (Preferred)
  • Supply Chain Specialist II: Required: High School diploma/GED and a minimum two (2) years' experience
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or a technical field (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Performs multifaceted tasks and projects of moderate complexity requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Supports procurement processes
  • Handles requisition traffic and procures quality materials/equipment in accordance with established purchasing policies and procedures
  • Coordinates communication between internal customers and vendors
  • Facilitates the resolution of disputes and claims
  • Supervises required inspections, expediting and logistics support
  • Analyzes and reports on market conditions and identifies competitive opportunities to initiate competitive bid process; coordinates and facilitates pre-competitive meetings and provides input to bid awards
  • Other duties as assigned
