About The Position

Supply Chain Senior Specialist will support Material Operations Key Duties and Responsibilities: Represents Material Operations department on assigned project sub-teams and/or task forces and, with general guidance, executes supply chain production activities. Support or manage projects related to warehouse operations, ERP master data, material planning, and or material purchasing. Participates in the creation and maintenance of material forecasts and replenishment models. Draft and maintain inventory models and reports to drive E&O analysis, SKU rationalization, and inventory balancing. Create and update capacity models, measure activity drivers, and prepare proposals for schedule optimization. Drive material and supplier onboarding activities to include the creation of master files, material specifications, and initiate master data requests. Create, track and publish open order reports. Executes purchase requisitions for suppliers and coordinates material deliveries. May perform or aid others in negotiation of schedule, delivery, cost, terms, etc. Works with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality, delivery, or financial issues. Collaborate with purchasing professionals and cross-functional stakeholders pursuing opportunities for continuous improvement. Mains warehouse and purchasing master data to include lead time, pricing, approved vendors, etc. Participates in the development and improvement of Materials Management processes, standard work, and tools. Focuses on immediate and urgent business needs while remaining engaged in continuous improvement. Prioritize and perform assignments independently to satisfy required timelines, providing periodic updates and feedback to stakeholders and managers. Maintain strong cross functional relationships to bolster communication with all stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Hands-On Knowledge of warehouse operations, material planning, and purchasing processes
  • Experience with ERP and digital planning systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high degree of collaboration.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written/oral).
  • Experience with quality management systems (change controls, deviations, etc)
  • Strong prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment
  • Experience in clinical and commercial drug product manufacturing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/manufacturing Operations-related disciplines, or comparable work experience
  • 3-5 years’ work experience
