Peckham Inc. - Supply Chain Kitting Quality Inspector Important Information: Starting Wage: $17.00 Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday Location: Watertown B Warehouse (5408 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI) SUMMARY Will work in multiple areas inspecting product. Product is inspected at multiple stages throughout the process and all inspections must be logged. Quality Inspectors will also need to sort product to classify product as it is unloaded from trucks.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able lift up to 40 pounds on a moderate basis.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • No positive drug screen within the last 12 months.
  • Must have reliable transportation to get between job locations.
  • Individual must be able to gain and maintain the necessary security clearances.
  • Basic English reading and writing levels.
  • Basic math, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect product to verify serviceability.
  • Restock product as needed.
  • Inspect product after cleaning process to determine cleanliness.
  • Must be able to recognize discrepant 15-digit part numbers.
  • Daily use of computers, scales, and measuring devices
  • Meets deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Work with supervisor towards meeting performance standards
  • Must be able to be licensed forklift on a and reach truck.
  • Other duties as assigned.
