We are welcoming a Supply Chain & Quality Analyst to join us at our Mountain View site to support the Instrumentation team, located a few blocks off the N Shoreline Blvd 101 exit. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Background in supply chain with experience in sourcing, supplier coordination, and quality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams and personnel; capable of influencing with a positive attitude to achieve results.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Own sourcing for parts and components that are utilized in the manufacture of our peptide synthesizers and other equipment.
  • This includes managing RFQs, quote comparisons, placing purchase orders, following up with suppliers on shipments, and ensuring appropriate documentation is supplied with the materials.
  • Work with engineering if there are changes to specs or drawings for parts and components that are purchased.
  • Manage multi-step procurement workflows.
  • Track open POs, expedite parts as needed, resolve delays
  • Schedule and ensure internally assembled parts are built to achieve minimum inventory quantities.
  • Ensure readiness of all parts and components for system builds.
  • Track incoming inspection and disposition of nonconforming parts, and work with supplier to coordinate corrective actions and drive timely closure.
  • Coordinate, track, and at times own internal continuous improvement initiatives
  • Generate and compile turnover packages (documentation, component certs, etc) for our systems.
  • Coordinate and manage internal training records for various processes across departments
