About The Position

Supply Chain Program Specialist The Opportunity: As a Supply Chain Risk Program Specialist, you will be responsible for validating and assessing supply chain risks across Army munitions programs through tracking sourcing availability, material readiness, and production capacity to proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the supplier base. You will leverage your knowledge domain and experience in supplier assessment, industrial base analysis, including valuations of quality, manufacturing capacity, industrial capabilities, foreign ownership considerations, and material availability or viable alternatives. Apply this knowledge to develop resilient sourcing strategies that improve throughput and ensure sustained mission readiness. You’ll collaborate with program officers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to implement supply chain risk management and modernization initiatives to support effort of optimizing the flow of raw materials and finished goods, enhance fleet utilization, and enable the delivery of integrated warfighting capabilities. You will provide actionable insights that inform supply chain strategy, resilience planning, and key program milestones, strengthening overall supply chain performance and readiness across defense programs. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with logistics policy, supply chain or process improvement planning, and project management
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional teams in supply chain optimization, risk mitigation, or strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Experience with DoW sustainment, industrial base assessment, supply chain management, or Army programs production
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing production or supply chain programs for ammunition, particularly within Army programs
  • Experience with data analysis to support supplier evaluations and risk modeling
  • Knowledge of production, supply chain, and industrial base concepts for defense programs
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or engineering
