You'll be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk performance specification and complex subcontracts for commercial and DOD programs. Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams. Hold procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Lead the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price, select or recommend subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity. This position is located in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth. This position is a hybrid position 50% and employee will be required to be onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with 10 years of experience; or a Master's Degree with 8 years of professional supply chain experience or related 12 years of professional supply chain experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or as a Buyer
  • Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Department of Defense (DOD) contracts or TINA
  • Price Analysis and Negotiations Experience
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation Experience

  • Demonstrated experience previously managing subcontracts of various types for a Defense Contractor
