About The Position

The Supply Chain Process Designer I, based in Cottage Grove, MN, supports the design, improvement, and execution of end‑to‑end supply chain processes across Order, Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver within key projects and initiatives. The candidate for this position must be local to the MN area and no relocation or sponsorship is available for this position. This position will be onsite to start while they were training and then transitioning to hybrid 3 days in the office. The Supply Chan Process Designer will support medium to large, cross functional technology and business initiatives by documenting business processes, ensuring teams stay aligned through each phase of the project lifecycle, and coordinating testing. This role partners closely with business SMEs, BAs, IT, and leadership to drive clarity, readiness, and execution from requirements through go live.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of supply chain experience (Supply Chain, Engineering, or Information Systems preferred).
  • Working knowledge of supply chain technologies (ERP, MES, WMS).
  • Experience with ERP systems, data mining, and data reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with lean problem‑solving tools (Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3, waste identification/elimination).
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build productive working relationships.
  • Demonstrated customer‑centric mindset and ability to understand user needs.
  • Willingness to take on new assignments and expand capabilities.
  • Desire to learn from experienced team members and continuously develop skills.
  • This person will travel less than 10% to other Andersen locations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or participating in ERP implementations.
  • Project coordination or facilitation experience.
  • PMP certification or exposure to formal project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, scenario creation, execution tracking, defect management, and readiness reporting.
  • Support project teams across all lifecycle phases (Requirements, Process Mapping, Design Reviews, Development/Testing, CRP, and UAT).
  • Document business processes, workflows, and future‑state designs, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and traceability to requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration across Business, BAs, IT, and Leadership to drive milestone deliverables and maintain alignment.
  • Maintain clear communication, decision logs, and issue escalation to keep workstreams coordinated and on schedule.
  • Understand customer needs and apply process improvement and problem‑solving skills to support optimized supply chain solutions.
  • Implement and refine material, inventory, and information flow processes across Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver.
  • Lead or support process mapping, kaizen events, value‑stream mapping, and other continuous‑improvement activities.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including process flows, information flow diagrams, and system-to-process linkages.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross‑functional partners (Supply Chain, Retail, Logistics, Finance, IT, suppliers, planners, engineers, and supervisors).
  • Communicate task progress and project updates through status reports, meeting minutes, and structured updates.
  • Identify supply chain improvement opportunities using lean tools (e.g., Kanban, 5Y, PDCA, value‑stream mapping, A3) to enhance service, reduce cost, and improve flow.
