About The Position

As the Supply Chain NPI & DME Leader, reporting to the Supply Chain Director of New Product Development for Electrolux North America, you will serve as the primary integrator between Supply Chain and all cross‑functional partners involved in New Product Introductions (NPIs) and engineering changes. This onsite role, based in Kinston, NC, is responsible for coordinating all Supply Chain deliverables, ensuring seamless execution from concept through launch. In this position, you will lead and align Supply Chain activities across Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and local site Supply Chain teams, acting as the central point of coordination for new part introductions, model launches, engineering change notices, and new supplier onboarding. You will champion collaboration by driving clear communication, synchronizing timelines, and ensuring all functional stakeholders remain aligned on requirements, risks, and readiness plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in areas such as advanced materials, logistic and production planning in a manufacturing setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of MRP systems like AS400 (Mapics) and JDE system, SAP system is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of materials planning, production scheduling, warehouse, material handling operations, receiving and materials flow.
  • Strong communication skill, both verbal and written (English) and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively. Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Supply Chain deliverables for product development and launches, ensuring full compliance with EPM/CP gate requirements.
  • Serve as the Supply Chain core team representative, approving deliverables and launch‑readiness metrics.
  • Coordinate build readiness (DVT/MVT/MP/SOP), including component availability, shipping plans, and build sequencing.
  • Identify long‑lead items, manage schedule risks, and drive premium‑freight mitigation when needed.
  • Partner with Purchasing, R&D, and site Planners to execute effective phase‑in/phase‑out plans, minimizing E&O (including Tier 2 impacts).
  • Act as the single point of contact for NPI, ECN, and cost‑out activities; participate in all cross‑functional project and change‑management forums.
  • Serve as the ECN approver for all NPI and DME changes, ensuring controlled execution by issuing clear implementation directives to the Materials team, validating stop‑orders, coordinating inventory disposition plans, and securing alignment on rollout timing to prevent supply or production disruptions.
  • Manage the project‑to‑operations handoff to guarantee a seamless transition.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for supplier issues, capacity constraints, and logistics delays.
