About The Position

This position is for a F-35 Sustainment Material Program Manager (MPM) supporting Mods and Upgrades. The selected candidate will be responsible for working laterally across F-35 GSC and other LM functions, including Program Management, to develop comprehensive acquisition and execution plans in support of programmatic milestones. MPM is responsible for acquisition milestone tracking from RFP through Definitization for major efforts. The MPM will also be responsible for summary level performance metrics to respective PM, including constraint resolution. This MPM will be the integration point between GSC and the F-35 Sustainment PMO, and is responsible for effective communication between the functions. The MPM will also responsible for removing roadblocks and driving actions to supporting functions to enable successful GSC execution of program requirements.

Requirements

Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
Experienced in procurement principles, contract management, and supply chain management
Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion
Advanced to Expert level in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Majors Procurement experience
Coordinate, organize, and deploy the SCM strategy to support Prime Contract efforts
Experience TINA compliant (Truth in Negotiations Act)
Program Customer (Negotiation) Experience
Represent the SCM organization to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP), (ERP), (MRP) or similar

Responsibilities
