Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field OR at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management
  • State Required: None.
  • GPH Required/Preferred: Certification for Hazardous Materials Training/Testing DOT required as soon as possible.
  • Current Nebraska driver's license required.
  • Stand and/or walk occasionally.
  • Sits frequently.
  • Bend occasionally.
  • Reach floor to above shoulders occasionally.
  • Carry 30 pounds 50 feet occasionally.
  • Eye hand coordination and visual acuity within normal limits.
  • Push and/or pull 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations within Materials Management department
  • Manage receiving, internal distribution, warehousing, inventory and par management of supplies for the organization
  • Responsible for timely delivery and management of supplies for all procedural areas
  • Responsible for implementation of new products and product conversions
  • Effectively coaches and counsels employees.
  • Effectively works well with clinical staff and physicians to ensure Materials Management departments meets the needs of the patients
  • Ensures federal and state licensure is enforced and the organization is compliant with required regulations including guidelines hospital has voluntarily made a choice to participate in.
  • Manages human resources of area of responsibility ensuring appropriate staffing, scheduling, payroll functions, record keeping, personnel action performance review, ongoing training, staff education and patient confidentiality.
