About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Warner Robins, GA. This role, specifically the C-17 MICAP Manager, involves leading a team within a 24/7 call center. The primary responsibility is to fulfill urgent aircraft parts and material needs, emphasizing first-time quality, rapid response, and high customer satisfaction. The manager will oversee a team across three shifts, coordinate with the C-17 Fleet Support team and senior program leaders, maintain contract performance metrics, represent the team in program reviews, and identify/resolve supply chain issues while fostering relationships with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call environment
  • Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift when required to meet operational needs up to 25% of the time
  • 3+ years of experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • 1+ years of experience in system compliance to include of current global privacy laws and maintenance of system and quality control
  • Experience performing internal and/or external audits
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Manage a 24/7 call center fulfilling exigent aircraft parts and material needs where first-time quality, rapid response and customer satisfaction are of the highest importance
  • Manage employees who use systems and tools to determine part availability, alternate part or next higher assembly applications and best sourcing options to fulfill customer requirements within defined time sensitive performance parameters
  • Coordinate with the onsite C-17 Fleet Support team
  • Coordinate with senior leaders supporting the C-17 program
  • Maintain contract performance metrics and represent the team’s performance in program review meetings
  • Identify supply chain gaps/issues and participate in the development & execution of recovery plans
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports
