About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, inventory management, and logistics, with a proven ability to implement Lean methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste. This role requires a strategic thinker with expert skills in pricing negotiations and extensive experience managing relationships with contract manufacturers to ensure exceptional product quality and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8 - 10 years proven experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expert knowledge of and direct experience implementing Lean methodologies and continuous improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating high-value contracts and managing supplier relationships.
  • Significant experience working with and overseeing contract manufacturing partners.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle SCM, or NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and support company growth.
  • Optimize supply chain processes, from procurement and production to logistics and distribution, to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Utilize an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to manage and maintain accurate planning parameters, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Champion the adoption of Lean manufacturing principles throughout the supply chain to eliminate waste, improve quality, and increase speed.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities by analyzing supply chain performance metrics and leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Lead process mapping and scenario planning to proactively solve challenges and enhance overall supply chain agility.
  • Manage supplier relationships and lead pricing negotiations for raw materials, manufactured products, and services to secure optimal terms and costs.
  • Evaluate supplier performance against key metrics, including quality, delivery, and cost, and provide regular performance feedback.
  • Drive cost savings and efficiency initiatives through effective contract management and strategic sourcing processes.
  • Manage all interactions with contract manufacturing partners to ensure the seamless execution of production plans.
  • Actively participate with contract manufacturing organizations on new product development and product launch activities.
  • Collaborate with external manufacturers and internal quality teams to maintain product standards and resolve issues related to cost, quality, and delivery.
