SCOPE OF POSITION: The Supply Chain Manager will serve as the SIOP and strategic sourcing leader for the Acuña, MX manufacturing facility, supporting Construction Specialties’ LGS (Louvers, Grilles, and Sunshades) business unit. This role is responsible for driving SIOP integration into the key supply chain functions that enable reliable production, material flow, and supplier performance for the growing LGS product line. The manager will lead the implementation of SIOP/demand planning business processes, optimize the supply chain to meet business requirements, define and negotiate key strategic supplier alliances, and support the Procurement team's development to ensure effective planning, sourcing, and inventory management. The successful execution of this role will strengthen Acuña’s performance and support LGS growth targets. This position also provides oversight and coordination with the Del Rio, TX location to ensure seamless cross‑border material flow, consistent processes, and aligned operational priorities. Strong bilingual communication skills and the ability to navigate U.S./Mexico operations are essential. Location: Acuña, MX preferred; Del Rio, TX with regular travel/commuting is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Engineering
  • 5+ years’ demonstrated leadership in a manager level role in supply chain or material management.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, SIOP/S&OP practices with the ability to implement the business processes to support those functions.
  • Working knowledge of GLOBAL quality, regulatory & trade compliance issues as they relate to supply chain.
  • Strong understanding of ERP and its application in a multi-site, multi divisional environment.
  • Bi-lingual English & Spanish.
  • Extensive and skillful negotiations experience.
  • Knowledge of supply agreements and procurement contracts.
  • Track record of a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in current computer software: MS Applications Word, Excel, and understanding of ERP systems (Microsoft D365 a plus)
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work in support of the Director of SIOP to execute SIOP initiatives throughout the organization at a tactical level. Oversee monthly meetings, drive tactical meeting execution and prepare monthly executive review.
  • Ensure effective strategic supplier relationships and supplier development, ensuring trade compliant partners.
  • Implement value added procedures within Supply Management to create innovative programs to drive cost savings and supply effectiveness
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Negotiate and manage hedging contracts for materials. Experience with aluminum and/or steel desirable.
  • Champion and be a catalyst on process improvement initiatives and change management. Support the implementation of Microsoft D365 in the site.
  • Train procurement team on best practices and standardize processes across the site in alignment with corporate policies.
  • Track and report key functional metrics and KPI’s to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute supply agreements and purchase contracts to minimize risk and solidify supply.
  • Continually assess, manage, and mitigate risks across the supply chain.
  • Develop partnerships with suppliers gaining a full understanding of their processes, capabilities and cost drivers
  • Support the development and implementation procurement and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow environmental and safety regulations and act in compliance with U.S. and International laws.
  • Maintain awareness of current industry standards, trends and practices, sharing industry updates, trends and practices with Supply Chain team to elevate team knowledge and performance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work within the CS culture of People – then Products.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Participate and work on projects as assigned.
