Supply Chain Manager, AGL Packaging
About The Position
The Amazon Grocery Logistics team is seeking a Supply Chain Manager within the Delivery Packaging team to manage both strategic, and cross-functional workstreams across the business with a focus on supply chain optimization. In this role, a candidate will work across Procurement, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to lead novel projects that change the way that Amazon Grocery Logistics manages non-inventory and packaging supplies. The role requires an ability to handle ambiguity, manage a broad set of stakeholders, and connect operational constraints into processes related to the programs that you own. We are seeking a candidate with a proven Program Management skill set, and preferably experience in either Procurement or Supply Chain.
Requirements
- 1+ years of program or project management experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanisms to enable scalable vendor management
- Own performance reporting of KPIs and managing associated data pipelines
- Scale innovative supply strategies for non-inventory across the Amazon Grocery network.
- Invent & Simplify processes to drive decision making in highly ambiguous situations
Benefits
- Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106,100/year in our highest geographic market.
- Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
