About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to support the BCA Flight Test team located in Seattle, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Lead efforts to mitigate part risk and resolve supply chain issues for 737 field operations, partnering with Supply Chain Operations and Fulfillment to drive on-time parts delivery Manage 737 critical parts for field operations: second issues, shortages, and safety stock Identify & resolve part or supply chain issues on a daily basis to support program stakeholders Communicate and coordinate part/POA status with 737 Manufacturing, Leadership and Supply Chain partners Interface between Supply Chain Procurement Agents, SCMAs, Fulfillment and 737 Program stakeholders Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel Basic proficiency with Microsoft Access (bonus if familiar with ERPMART) Knowledge of ordering & scheduling within the ERPLN system, and ability to utilize system data from multiple sources to make reasonable part impact assessments Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to build positive working relationships through partnership and collaboration Independent worker, self-starter, with ability to thrive working at a fast pace and with significant autonomy Effectively negotiate with various stakeholders to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties Utilizes critical thinking when problem-solving to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and through the proper escalation process. Understands how to assess a problem situation, what steps to take to resolve the issue (based on data, planning and reasoning), and is capable of execution, understanding possible consequences of actions while choosing best course of action Knowledgeable of the interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-Procurement processes (e.g. Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Business Operations, Warehousing & Logistics, etc.). Knowledgeable of customer and supplier requirements to support program production schedule and airplane deliveries for planned versus unplanned demand

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Experience in MS Excel
  • Experience in supply chain
  • Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships through partnership and collaboration
  • Independent worker, self-starter, with ability to thrive working at a fast pace and with significant autonomy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Supply Chain experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, or another industry
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Access (bonus if familiar with ERPMART)
