Under the general supervision of Brown University Health Supply Chain Logistics Managers, Supply Chain Logistics Lead coordinates activities and functions of the Supply Chain Procedural, Distribution and Central Supply Technicians throughout Brown University Health. Orients, trains, assigns work, maintains work schedules, and evaluates performance of staff in keeping with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice in their respective areas of responsibility. Participates in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, process improvements and budgets for the assigned Supply Chain area. Prepares and maintains records, files, and requisitions. text-align: justify· Assists employees with prioritization and problem resolution as issues occur, such as authorizing urgent requisitions, accommodating emergency or priority requests, or adjusting assignments text-align: justify· Initiates structured par level and inventory management activities on an at least semi-annual basis for all assigned supply areas. Works with staff and clinical management to adjust. text-align: justify· Participates in the recruitment, retention, performance enhancement, and competency assessment of staff in collaboration with Supply Chain Logistics Manager. Ensures compliance to established standards, policies, and procedures.
