Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run June-December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Aerospace, or Computer Science.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration and initiative.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with advanced BI analytics tools such as Tableau or Alteryx.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and innovation in problem-solving.
  • Prior experience or coursework related to logistics or supply chain management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for cost savings and ensure compliance with logistics strategies.
  • Create and manage Standard Work documents and communications with Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
  • Validate workflow approvals against freight receipts to prevent unnecessary expenses.
  • Generate and analyze reports on freight usage, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvements.
  • Coordinate with Collins sites and SBUs to enforce freight usage policies and manage exceptions.
  • Provide training, handle inquiries, and support the use of logistics tools and processes.
