We’re hiring a Supply Chain / Logistics Intern! Our Clean Mobility Division is looking for a Logistics Intern for its manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH to assist the Production Controls and Logistics Manager with inventory management, freight control, internal auditing, and cost saving projects.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a supply chain, logistics, STEM, Mathematics, Physics or industrial engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program or equivalent
  • Flexibility and understanding that process changes may be needed
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • A positive attitude and optimistic mindset
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SAP

  • Junior, Senior or Masters status preferred

  • Inventory Management
  • Plant JNI (Just Needed Inventory) analysis to determine if current inventory parameters are correct or can be improved
  • Packaging Optimization
  • Pack Density study & right sizing components to tote/containers
  • Inventory accuracy
  • SAP master data study
  • Shopfloor accuracy analysis
  • Cost savings project(s)
  • Freight Savings Project
  • Analyze fill rate of containers and packaging
