About The Position

Amphenol IPC (AIPC) is the global leader in power distribution interconnect solutions for IT & Data Communications equipment, electric mobility, and industrial power conversion. Headquartered in Endicott, NY, and with operations in China and Mexico, AIPC is a division of Amphenol Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. The company is seeking a motivated candidate for the Supply Chain Intern position in Endicott, NY. This role will support supply chain and sourcing initiatives for North America sourced products, focusing on data analytics, project coordination, and supplier research to aid incoming business opportunities, new product introductions (NPIs), and cost analysis. It is a developmental role designed to provide exposure to supply chain operations and strategic sourcing processes while supporting cross-functional business objectives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidate must be able to legally work in the United States
  • Position requires candidate to be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or coursework in supply chain, operations, or data analysis is a plus
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts is preferred
  • Experience with Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to sourcing, pricing, and supplier performance
  • Support cost analysis activities including price benchmarking and cost breakdowns
  • Help track project milestones for incoming business opportunities and NPI initiatives
  • Compile reports and summaries to support decision-making by the sourcing and supply chain teams
  • Conduct supplier research to identify potential new sources and capabilities
  • Assist in evaluating supplier data, including capacity, lead times, and geographic considerations
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights on materials, pricing, and supply risks
  • Support supply chain activities tied to new product introductions, including data collection and coordination
  • Assist with documentation and tracking of sourcing-related inputs for stage gate processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of supply chain requirements for new programs
