You will be responsible for providing financial insights on decision support for the multiple transformation projects occurring in the Covington Ice Cream factory. Primary role is to support end-to-end SC Finance over all ongoing transformation projects (both strategic one-off projects and ongoing ‘big-bet’ workstreams). The Finance Transformation AFM will report to the Factory Finance Leadership and partner closely with the Supply Chain team, external consultants and Cross-Functional Project Leads.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of finance experience, with specific focus on Supply Chain/Operations finance partnering
  • Detailed knowledge of financial systems (SAP FIN & SC, PBCS, Driverless)
  • Project management and budgeting experience for large investments
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Business Integration: Product Costing, Inventory controls, Cost Synergies with other factories, Distribution Cost Management (efficiencies & onboarding).
  • Product Insourcing: Support the business to estimate potential benefits for factory insourcing (capex requests, business case, spend tracking, savings tracking).
  • Production Cost Turnaround: ideate cost reduction activities across the factory network and implement spending targets & controls for controllable expenses.
  • Business Waste: drill into details and ensure accountability and uniform reporting across pillars. Explore “out of the box” solutions leveraging external best practices and other Magnum geographies.
  • Factory Waste: Our network needs a SAP expert to look into receiving and consumption issues potentially creating inventory variances and phantom waste
  • Business cases and project support for other F4G big bets: Alternative sourcing partnerships, product insourcing/outsourcing.
