About The Position

AmeriPro Health is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Director to lead all purchasing and procurement operations across our multistate EMS and healthcare organization. This role oversees a wide range of assets—including medical supplies, oxygen, office equipment, furniture, and fleet vehicles—while ensuring consistent pricing and operational efficiency across all markets. The Director will establish national vendor partnerships, drive cost effective sourcing strategies, and optimize inventory management to support high quality emergency medical service

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: 7+ years in supply chain management, preferably in healthcare, EMS, or logistics industries.
  • Proven track record in vendor management, procurement, warehouse and inventory control.
  • Skills: Expertise in inventory control management systems (e.g., ERP software).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar cloud-based ERP systems for procurement and financial integration.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare supply regulations and best practices.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) to national markets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement of all company assets, including medical supplies, oxygen equipment, office supplies, furniture, and fleet vehicles.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and manage national vendor accounts, negotiating pricing, terms, and quality standards across all markets.
  • Lead inventory control processes, using advanced systems to track stock levels, forecast needs, and minimize waste.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and clinical teams to align purchasing with organizational goals and service delivery requirements.
  • Analyze purchasing and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure ethical, reliable, and sustainable sourcing practices that support emergency medical operations.
  • Travel to assigned markets (e.g., GA, FL, KY, AL, MS, IN, MI) to audit vendors, suppliers, and inventory locations.
