About The Position

Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the item master and item vendor relationships contained in the Materials Management Information System. The database is used across the enterprise for product requisitioning, order entry, issuing purchase orders, receiving products and services, invoice verification and matching invoices for payments. Enters and maintains large volumes of information including but not limited to items, vendors, pricing, and units of measure along with other key elements associated to an items attributes. This position is integral to maintaining efficient supply chain workflow and cost containment. In addition, this role maintains information to optimize the product recall process across the healthcare system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business related field required.
  • Experience in a supply chain role, preferably healthcare.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with supply chain software; Oracle Peoplesoft experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills with sound decision making abilities.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to plan, organize and exercise sound judgment.
