About The Position

About our group: Our Supply Chain Engineering team collaborates with suppliers across the globe to deliver high quality components for our cloud storage products. We interface with Design Engineering, Materials Planning and our Factories during the product development phase to ensure components are highly manufacturable. We are seeking a high energy individual with a Masters degree in Comp Sci/Mathematics or related field with a strong background in programming and statistics. About the role - you will: Implement new data workflows and use the data to discover insights that improve designs and processes. Have capability in data analysis and machine learning that can be applied to supply chain management. Analyze complex datasets, develop predictive models and provide actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, logistics and IT to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models. Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings and track key performance indicators. Set up analytic workflows for data coming in from our suppliers. Will be using Machine Learning and AI tools to analyze data and identify insights. Identify strategies for optimizing supplier processes. About you: Curious, with interest and success in a technical environment. Ability to learn and apply design of experiments methodologies. Ability to learn and understand statistical process controls. Good project management skills. Commitment for completing projects on time. Able to write engineering reports and deliver presentations. Self-motivated, can work with a team but also independently to achieve goals. Your experience includes: At least 1 year of experience in the Data Science field (including internships and scholastic projects). Problem solving. Project management. Proficient with Microsoft Tech Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.). Experience with Python (specifically data-oriented packages like Pandas, Numpy, Sklearn, Keras, etc.). Experience with version control software such as Git/Github. Familiarity with machine learning techniques including both classic statistical approaches and neural networks. Masters degree in the areas of Mathematics, Data Science or related field. Location: Our Longmont product-design campus is nestled against the foothills with exceptional views of the Rocky Mountains. The estimated base salary range for this position is $83,000- $131,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
