Performs all analyses to determine trends and provide projections for all procurement strategies. Maintains the global database of materials and parts ensuring standardization across inventories. Works cross-functionally with other teams at Mountaire including IT, Plant Operations and Finance; building models and dashboards to understand and measure current performance. Supports the procurement and financial systems subject matter expert (SME) by troubleshooting processes associated with inventory and procurement transactions. Major Duties & Responsibilities Analyzes market intelligence to build business cases and cost models to identify and quantify improvement opportunities for both sourcing and non-sourcing. Responsible for vendor recommendations, gathering requirements and specifications from business and category experts to ensure that solutions meet needs. Designs and implements changes to Oracle workflows as required. Provides daily, weekly and monthly analyses to business partners and senior leadership that include historical trends and projections. Identifies and participates in process improvement projects that advance customer service levels, improves product flows, minimizes supply chain costs and overall operational excellence. Manages both internal and external relationships, ranging from needs analyses to contract negotiations and contract management. Personal development includes keeping current with business needs and training that builds competency and commitment. Conceptualizes and builds centralized tools (including dashboards) that the Procurement team can use to extract data/insights for daily business management in an automated manner. Monitors data safety and clean data and ensures that there are no gaps in data collection collaboration with Finance, IT and/or Procurement. Are you looking for more than just a job?
