West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Supply Chain team within our Operations Excellence (OpEx) Practice. In this role, interns leverage their business and technology acumen to guide the transformation of our clients across their COO, CFO and CIO organizations. These projects typically involve developing current-state assessment, strategy, and business case, or managing the implementation of the transformation. As Supply Chain Consulting Intern, you will help our clients identify and implement improvements in areas such as inventory optimization, demand planning and forecasting, and logistics execution, enhancing both current and future operating models. Interns aligned to our Operations Excellence Practice will build depth and expertise in their selected area of focus across industries, while sometimes being exposed to our other functional disciplines, pending business need. Interns hone their skills in critical thinking, data analysis, and presentation. Perhaps more importantly, through our supportive culture interns also learn how personally meaningful it is to work for a firm whose mission is to create the next generation of leaders.

  • Work with management at various levels, both internally and at client sites
  • Support the creation of client-ready communications for decision-making, status updates, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
  • Develop an understanding of supply chain software solutions such as WMS, TMS, and ERP systems; communicate capabilities and limitations clearly to clients
  • Contribute to project deliverables, including current-state assessments, strategic roadmaps, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models
  • Stay updated on industry trends in the supply chain management and understand their impact on our clients
  • Sharp analytical thinking and an interest in solving complex problems
  • Ability to stay organized and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated leadership potential through academics, extracurriculars, or prior work experience
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic data analysis skills leveraging programs like Microsoft Excel
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to team success
  • Curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and innovation
  • Bachelor’s degree in progress, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and July 2027
