Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we are looking to add a Supply Chain Intern located in our Austin, TX (Corporate HQ) site. Reporting to the Strategic Supply Chain Manager, the student will support customer supply chain initiatives focused on improving Flex Value Chains. Working with Supply Chain Managers, Global Commodity Management, and Global Site Operations to improve material competitiveness, inventory velocity, product launches and support business growth. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment while driving value for the business.

Requirements

  • Undergrad student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn
  • Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10–12-week Summer assignment
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with supply chain principles, sourcing strategy, or cost analysis is a plus.
  • Prior internship or coursework in procurement, logistics, or manufacturing is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with a Supply Chain Manager on a specific product supply chain initiative.
  • Support management of Costed Bills of Materials, Project Management, and Sourcing activities.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, optimize inventory, and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Brainstorm ways to introduce the use of newer technology and AI into existing processes that may be overly manual or outdated.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and business cases for leadership review.
  • Attend customer discussions focused on providing status on projects and proposing solutions to customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, IT, program management, legal, commodity management, finance, and other organizations as required.
  • Work with data from ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., Baan, Tableau,) to develop actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Interact with other Interns that are focused on Inventory, Marketing, IT and other focus areas.
